Huge news for Slacker this week, as a they introduced their on-demand music service to rave reviews. Time's Techland wrote "Watch out, MOG and Rdio; Slacker Radio is getting into the on-demand subscription music scene with its own $10 per month offering." While Engadget was equally impressed writing "Internet radio provider Slacker is bulldozing the thin line dividing itself from subscription-based music services today, with the launch of Premium Radio." The LA Times' Pop & Hiss and Gizmodo also wrote awesome reviews, which can be read here and here respectively. Additionally Slacker released a new native iPad app that received editors choice and 4.5/5 stars from PC Magazine. The week maybe coming to a close on this Friday the 13th, but for Stern Pinball and Monsoon Multimedia things are just getting started. Stern Pinball and Disney have teamed up to bring TRON: Legacy Pinball to pinball fans and movie goers alike. CNET recently featured TRON: Legacy on CRAVE saying "The playfield features light cycles, deadly discs, and other notable imagery from the film. One of the new features for the next update of the app, CNET wrote, "was People finding businesses with Poynt will be able to click the tablet app to place a BlackBerry call, add a phone number to the phone's address book, add entries to the phone's calendar, and trigger turn-by-turn directions." Slacker this week announced the coming addition of ESPN audio content across all platforms, just in time for the finale of March Madness, and the begin of baseball season! The ESPN content features a range of shows, like SportsCenter and Mike & Mike in the Morning, and provides hourly updates from SportCenter.
